Water N’ KidWater And Kids Safety Course

Water N’ Kids is an engaging, interactive course designed especially for students ages 8 to 10, helping them build the skills, safety awareness, and confidence they need around the water. Developed by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary’s Public Education Directorate, this program introduces young learners to essential water safety concepts in a fun and age-appropriate way. By blending hands-on activities with practical knowledge, Water N’ Kids empowers children to make smart choices that keep themselves and others safe whenever they are near the water.

Topics include how to swim safely, recognize and respond to rip currents, understand the importance of always wearing life jackets, and practice basic boating safety. The course also teaches kids how to care for the environment so our waterways stay clean and healthy for future generations. With Water N’ Kids, parents gain peace of mind knowing their children are learning from trusted experts, while students gain confidence and life-long water safety habits.
